I drew this for [livejournal.com profile] ladylapislazuli a while ago, in an attempt to get her inspired with a story she was writing. I'm a pretty terrible artist really, but there's so little C/E fanart around so I figured what the hell?

Photobucket

I tried to make the lines stronger in photoshop, but it went sort of blue.

That's not bad, except one of them looks a bit like a child. xD

He IS a child, in body. *rolls eyes*

He's actually older than Caspian. This is the SECOND time Edmund's grown up.

that would be because he's biologically about fourteen? Not sure what age Lucy sets her Edmund at, exactly- canonically he could be anywhere between thirteen and seventeen.

On the other hand he has been a conscious, rational human being for approximately thirty years, so I say he can have all the sex we he likes.

~

And turning back to Lucy- they're about to have a collision of sword-hilts, aren't they? AHAHA. Must write sword-hilt/hipbone collisions into my next fic :D

Well now I feel like I've just offended an entire fandom. *Runs away* =P

I never did end up reading Narnia, it's on my to do list.

To amend this, I might offer Lucy a request for a drawing of her choice.

Ahaha, no. We're just extra defensive! Due to the fact that, well, age is kinda the interesting thing in Caspian/any pevensie pairings. And then you feel a bit creepy, and come up with complicated excuses :D

Well, I've no room to talk, my favourite pairing (which is also canon) is between a 17 year old and a 29 year old. :P *Points to my icon*

You know, I only just figured out the other day who those two pretty snogging boys were? I've been seeing them EVERYWHERE, and had to go on a massive quest to figure out who they were. Sigh.

When I go home in a couple of months and sit down to *watch TV*, my parents are going to think I've been abducted by aliens.

On the other hand, if the TV in question is Torchwood and Queer as Folk, they'll just think I've turned into a perv. (*coughohwhatarevelationcough*)

I'm reliably assured that people who watch Torchwood for the plot also read Play(*insertgenderhere*) for the articles... :P

But what else is a girl to do in a two-year Who-less void?

I know, I live here too :) It made me VERY CRANKY. I wish to curse Russel T Davies to a lifetime of ants in his bed and INCOMPETENT PERSONAL ASSISTANTS. Which would be appropriate to the crime.

ah, but Caspian is a much bigger PERSON than Edmund. The real question is, whose sword is larger in proportion to their person? (Exactly which personal dimensions you wish to ponder here is entirely up to you.)

PS- HEY! Long time no see!

*waves* I been busyified with work etc ... I'm still lurking though :)

I think the most useful dimension to consider in relation to what we might refer to as 'sword size' is probably blood capacity and size of heart and related vessels...

... I studied biology for far too long ...

... well *where* is it called for? Everywhere I go it turns out it's not welcome :)

*cuddles logic*

In that case, illogically, I'm going to say that we should measure sword size against foot size and the square of the distance across their shoulders, just for shits and giggles :P
