Writer's Block: Life With ADHD

Well, it's...interesting. I can say that much for it.
I think that from a social acceptance point of view, it would have been far easier if I was a boy. My behaviour, when I was a child, only shocked everyone so much because I was a girl - I've seen people just smile benevolently and shake their heads when little boys exhibit the same behaviours that got me into so much trouble. "Oh, boys will be boys." But little girls are supposed to be calm and placid. And little girls aren't as tolerant of rough play as little boys are.
I twitch around a lot, I often have trouble getting to sleep because I just feel too energetic, and if I'm not particularly interested in something then I just can't concentrate. Period.
I don't have clinical ADHD, mind. I'm in what they call the 'syndrome mix'.
By the way, nice question
