I'm not particularly exclusive about who I add, but I don't deal with strangers who friend me without so much as introducing themselves first. If you want to be added, please comment here first and unless you're a blatant creep or troll you'll pretty much be in. :)

1. This being my journal and all, I don't censor what I write here for anyone else's benefit. I normally put long entries and particularly delicate content under a cut, and the really sensitive stuff gets filtered so that only a select group of people can read it. That said, I make no promises. Just be aware of that.
2. I reserve the right to be as silly, immature, spammy, whiny, drunk, attention-seeking and/or pissed off as I please.
3. If you're racist, sexist, homophobic or otherwise unreasonably prejudiced, or if you can see from my interests/bio/public content that I'm not someone you can respect for whatever reason, please don't bother. I don't need drama here.

Hi!! I'm sorry for sneaking up on you, but I was reading your comments in response to some pretty cruel comments on another lj user's post, and I admired you for coming up to the plate, and saying what I wish I had the courage to.

There are "repeat offenders" on lj that just will spend hours flaming someone...I just don't get it...

I'm newly back from a real life meltdown that I need to post about on my journal tomorrow...as soon as I "condense" it, as I've been reprimanded once for "killing an fpage"!

Hey, Amy linked me to you and suggested we friend each other. I'm down with that if you are - I liked the story she rec'd (the parental robot units one), and you apparently liked my emobots, as lame as they are :P so it seems we have at least one thing in common. Apart from Miss Amy, that is.

So, basically, I'm friending you. If you want to poke around my most recent stuff before you accept/decline/decide (the F-Locked writings et al), that's cool. There's no rush. But I am interested in reading some more of your stuff if that's ok.

Not sure if you still use DW or LJ, I'm not on either frequently anymore either. But definitely more than Tumblr, which I've never gotten the hang of.
