So, I've finished watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! All seven seasons. Over, just like that. Kinda sad, actually. But in honour of this momentous occasion, I've decided to make a list of my ten favourite episodes. In no particular order, or else I'd spend the rest of my life coming back to edit.

1. Once More, With Feeling - well, duh. This is quite possibly the most brilliant episode ever to appear in the history of TV. Songs, spontaneous dancing, bunnies...do I really need to go on?

2. Amends - "It's not the demon in me that needs killing, Buffy. It's the man." As far as I'm concerned, this is the most hard-hitting scene in the whole series, and that's really saying something. Maybe I just love it so much because it touches close to home, but every time I watch it I end up a mess of tears and heartache.

3. Passion - In the words of Joss Whedon himself: "death, La Boheme and Tony Head with a flaming baseball bat. Come ON, people."

4. The Gift - I hadn't cried so hard since Amends. Just beautiful.

5. The Body - It was so quiet. No music, barely any dialogue, and yet it managed to grab a hold of me and swing me around until I'm dizzy and teary-eyed.

6. Selfless - This episode more or less summarizes everything I love about the show. The constant twisting and turning, the humour mixed in with the despair, the utter bizarreness of it all.

7. Grave - Willow's breakdown at the end. I felt like my whole chest was caving in.

8. Conversations With Dead People - I mean, wow.

9. Enemies - Mainly I just loved seeing Faith and Angel kiss.

10. Bad Eggs - I realise that's a strange choice, but I'm forever going back to re-watch this one. It makes me giggle every time.

Also, I should note that overall Season 3 was my favourite. I can't pick out individual episodes, but it was just WOW.

My mind is already beginning to change. So I'm going to run away before anything drastic happens to this list, k?
