Summary: Of all the people to find him in such an undignified situation, it had to be Peter.
He was really in trouble now. He tried to stand, cursing as his ankle screamed in protest.
“Caspian, what are you doing?”
Brilliant. Not only had Caspian just taken a most undignified tumble - now there were witnesses.
“Resting,” he replied quickly.
Peter said nothing, but chuckled mirthfully to himself. “Well, let me help you down to the infirmary. That’s where you were going, wasn’t it?”
Caspian nodded miserably, and allowed the other king to lift him to his feet and wrapping an arm around Peter’s shoulders. Next time, he vowed silently, he would watch where he put his feet.
